History and Philosophy
In 1998, after being “downsized” by
a environmental consulting firm, I became MAD. Actually, I was
born MAD, but it was this event that launched a
reluctant entrepreneur and led to the formation of MAD Scientist & Associates LLC, as it exists today. Our approach to life, reflected in our
company name, centers on being approachable and not
taking one’s self too seriously. Our approach to
the ecological consulting business is grounded in environmental stewardship
and treating each client’s needs with the utmost
respect. We focus on collaboration; we want to be

As we view it, we don’t have competitors in the ecological consulting business.
